Battery Life

When my cell phone battery isn't dead by the time I go to bed I know I didn't talk to my friends enough that day.
I miss being THAT social.
Not necessarily "going out and doing stuff all the time" social (because who are we kidding, I love sitting on the couch and watching TV)," but "talking (or preferably texting) to my friends all the time" social.
That's what I'm talking about.

Text me.
See what I'm doing.
I'm sure it's nothing exciting, but that doesn't matter! At least we'll be involved a little more in each other's lives.
It can be things that seem meaningless...
What did you have for dinner?
Made a new recipe? How'd it turn out?
You had a cashier at Walmart that drove you nuts? SHARE!
Let's chat about a favorite TV show.
Maybe you wore your new shoes today...maybe they looked great...maybe they made you want to tear your toes off after an hour...who knows? SHARE!
Did you see the ugliest dog running down the road? Let's laugh about that!

I'll do the same.
Unless you think I'm bugging you.
Then tell me, I guess.

But seriously, I miss knowing small details about your lives! That's what makes us friends.
And I'm not just talking to the oldest and the best-est of the friends I have. I'm talking to all of you.
Old or new, let's be social!
My phone battery should be DEAD by 9pm at least!

Everything Happens for a Reason

I've always been a firm believer of that.
Everything happens for a reason.

Some things are rough while they are happening, we all know that, but once they are over we are either better people ourselves or we know the situation is ultimately better because of what we've gone through.

He has a master plan. We believe and make the best of each situation we're given. Great things happen to those who make the right choices and wait patiently for results.

Maybe a next tattoo??
"Everything happens for a reason."

It's true.
I like it!
